TFG Fantasy Pundit: Guyana bowlers well equipped to give you more points

Overview

Expect some changes in the Jamaica line-up as they take on a settled Guyanese team. Andre Russell might continue to miss the game once again, while there might be a toss up between Imad Wasim and Alex Ross. Meanwhile, the runs for Guyana have come from their top-four batsmen and the pattern is unlikely to change.

Probable 11 for the round

GAW- Martin Guptill, Dwayne Smith, Chris Lynn, Jason Mohammad, Anthony Bramble, Chris Barnwell, Rayad Emrit, Adam Zampa, Sohail Tanvir, Veerasammy Permaul, Steven Jacobs

JT- Chris Gayle, Chadwick Walton, Kumar Sangakkara, Shakib Al Hasan, Rovman Powell, Imad Wasim/Alex Ross, Andre McCarthy, Kesrick Williams, Dale Steyn, Jon Jaggesar, Gary Mathurin

Players who cannot be ignored

Chris Gayle- His presence at the top will be huge for Jamaica and in this form, just don’t even bother to drop him.

Dwayne Smith- He has blown hot and cold in this tournament but that doesn’t mean you should ignore him for this crucial tie.

Sohail Tanvir- Has been a regular wicket taker for his team whether he is operating up front or dealing at the death.

Dark horses

Jason Mohammad- This middle-order batsman has been quite a reliable guy who has managed to play some crucial innings thus far.

Chadwick Walton- He will open the batting with Gayle and likes to play freely. A lively keeper-batsman who could surprise you.

TFG Pundit XI: Martin Guptill, Dwayne Smith, Chris Lynn, Jason Mohammad, Rayad Emrit, Sohail Tanvir, Chris Gayle, Chadwick Walton, Shakib Al Hasan, Kesrick Williams, Jon Jaggesar

Happy Hunting!!!
