#TFGFantasyPundit: Slower bowlers might get enough assistance at Providence

Overview 

The Guyanese team might have some firepower in their batting, but it’s their bowlers who have kept them undefeated so far in the competition. It clearly tells you to pick most of their bowlers. The game will be played at the Providence in Guyana and the wicket might favour the slower bowlers. We also don’t expect too many changes from both sides.

GAW- Martin Guptill, Dwayne Smith, Chris Lynn, Jason Mohammad, Anthony Bramble, Chris Barnwell, Rayad Emrit, Adam Zampa, Sohail Tanvir, Veerasammy Permaul, Steven Jacobs

SKN- Faf du Plessis, Lendl Simmons, Brad Hodge, Evin Lewis, Devon Thomas, Jonathan Carter, Carlos Brathwaite, Thissara Perera, Tabriaz Shamsi, Krishmar Santokie, Samuel Badree 

Players who cannot be ignored 

Dwayne Smith- He might be inconsistent at the top, but that’s how he plays. It’s better to lose by having him in your team, rather than not. 

Martin Guptill- The Kiwi opener is yet to fire in this tournament. Given his form, one may feel like dropping him, but that can backfire badly. 

Carlos Brathwaite- The big all-rounder too hasn’t come up with a match-winning performance. That said, he does generate fantasy points with bat & ball.

Dark Horses 

Evin Lewis- Has been the surprise package for St. Kitts at the top of the innings. Aggressive approach can sometimes give you the edge. 

Chris Lynn- A dangerous customer who can take the game away in a jiffy with the willow.
