A SHOCKING EXIT BY THE World No. 10 PV Sindhu from the first round of Australian Superseries has left her fans upset. A straight games loss to an opponent against whom she had a lead of 3-0 in the head-to-head count wasn't something everyone expected out of her.

Srikanth ousted Ng Ka Long Angus 21-16, 21-12 to set up a clash against Sony Kuncoro while Sameer triumphed over Maulana Mustofa in three game encounter 22-20, 15-21, 21-15 to face Anthony Ginting in round two. Gurusaidutt was defeated by Hu Yun 19-21, 21-12, 15-21.
The lone pair in the men's doubles pair of Nikhar Garg/Anilkumar Raju too ended their campaign as they lost to V Shem Goh/Wee Kiong Tan 12-21, 10-21.
