Srikanth dips one spot to No. 12 while Jwala/Ashwini climb one spot to No. 14
MEN'S SINGLES SHUTTLER KIDAMBI SRIKANTH who has gained a place in the Rio Olympics has slipped one spot to no. 12 according to the Badminton World Federation (BWF) rankings released today.
Ajay Jayaram too took a downfall to No. 21 from 20 while HS Prannoy climbed two spots to no. 25. Parupalli Kashyap's has hit a new low of no. 29, which might dip even more as he has been out of action due to a series of injuries and is expected to return to court in July.
Men's doubles pair Manu Attri / Sumeeth Reddy who have created history by becoming the first Indian pair to play at the Olympics in this category have slipped one spot to no. 20. While their female counterparts have improved to be no. 14 from 15 respectively.
On the other hand, women's singles shuttlers Saina Nehwal and PV Sindhu maintain their rankings at no. 8 and 10 respectively.
