Open to IPL role but not Indian coaching job, says Gilchrist

AUSTRALIAN VETERAN ADAM GILCHRIST expressed his desire to make a return to IPL in whatever role possible and even made it clear that he doesn’t see himself as a full-time coach with the Indian cricket team.

Gilchrist  who has been out of action from the IPL since 2013 told PTI,

“Coaching a team full-time is probably unlikely. I am not really seeing myself as a coach but may be some involvement down the track in the IPL."

"I don't see myself in any full time role and with the BCCI, you really need to commit full time which is understandable but at the moment I am open to opportunities in IPL down the track. I have loved my experience in the IPL."

The Aussie legend has already acted as a coach-cum-player for the KXIP in 2013 and has always earned the respect and admiration from fans and his colleagues.
