Bengaluru FC coach Ashley Westwood linked with Singapore National Team

BENGALURU FC head coach Ashley Westwood has been linked with the role of coaching the Singapore national team; a potential move that can occur over the summer.

According to a news report published on ESPN FC, Westwood has had initial talks with Singapore FA officials about taking on the job. The interest in him, apparently, has been fuelled by Bengaluru FC's quick emergence as one of the top clubs in India.

Westwood is the first ever coach of Bengaluru FC and is into his third season with the Blues. Under him BFC won their maiden I-League title on their very first season and clinched the Federation Cup the following season. They are currently in the run for a second I-League title and stand a good chance to progress to the knockout rounds of AFC Cup.
