Sunil Chhetri joins national team in Kochi, likely to feature vs Turkmenistan

The captain who is the highest ever goal scorer for India had to miss out on the crucial trip to Tehran when on the day before departure he complained of an injury and national team coach Stephen Constantine, along with physio Gigy George, decided that he should rest.

It is unclear whether Sunil has fully recovered from the injury but he participated in a full training session today; which means he has a high chance to play in India's last World Cup Qualifier group stage match against Turkmenistan on Tuesday.
