TFG Fantasy Pundit: Rain might play spoilsport, pick top-order batsmen for AUS v NZ game

Overview

Neighbours Australia and New Zealand will lock horns tomorrow at Dharamsala

As we saw in the qualifiers, the weather at the venue has been erratic and some more rain is predicted for this clash.

While creating fantasy teams, we would advise you to consider the weather. Also, picking the top-order batsmen from both sides could help as we might have a shortened game.

Our probable 11 that could take the field

NZ- Kane Williamson, Martin Guptill, Colin Munro, Grant Elliot, Ross Taylor, Corey Anderson, Mitchell Santner, Luke Ronchi, Tim Southee, Trent Boult, Adam Milne

Aus: Aaron Finch,  Shane Watson,  Steven Smith,  David Warner, Glenn Maxwell,  James Faulkner,  Mitchell Marsh,  Peter Nevill, John Hastings, Nathan Coulter-Nile,  Adam Zampa

Players who cannot be ignored for this round

Kane Williamson- He might not be an explosive batsman up the order, but can tactfully score runs at a brisk rate.

David Warner- He may or may not open the innings, but expect the swashbuckler to fire on all cylinders.

Mitchell Santner- After his heroics with the ball against India, it would be a folly to leave him out.

Dark Horses

Colin Munro- He is unorthodox but is mighty effective in the powerplay.

Glenn Maxwell- He can change the course of a game in no time and given a curtailed game, he could be devastating.

TFG PUNDIT XI: Kane Williamson, Colin Munro, Corey Anderson , Mitchell Santner, Luke Ronchi, Aaron Finch (vc), David Warner (c), Glenn Maxwell, Nathan Coulter-Nile,  Adam Zampa, Adam Milne

Happy Hunting!!!
