Copenhagen Masters 2015: Sindhu lose final while Praneeth and Gurusaidutt lose in semi-final
INDIAN TRIO OF PV Sindhu, Sai Praneeth and Gurusaidutt lost their individual matches at the 2015 Copenhagen Masters, which considered a high-ranking tournament in Badminton. It is an invitation tournament held in the week between Christmas and New Year. Top Danish players meet followed by remaining point leaders.
It is a two day event, 27-28 December. The Indian shuttlers bowed out on the first day playing against the top Danish players. PV Sindhu and Line Kjærsfeldt were the only two participants and it was a final in which the Indian lost 12-21,19-21 in the women's singles matches. In the men's singles matches it was a semi-final as Sai Praneeth lost to Viktor Axelsen 14-21, 18-21 and Gurusaidutt went down fighting to Anders Antonsen 18-21, 21-14, 19-21.
Despite the loss, it looked like they had good time in Denmark.
