Jeje's first ISL goal came on 28th October 2014, in the 5-1 goalfest victory Chennaiyin FC had against Mumbai City. Jeje scored the second goal of the night. Elano sent in a pass that went past the Mumbai defensive line and reached Jeje on the left flank who ran in and fired it past Subrata Paul just before the 30 minute match, heralding the arrival of a tennis score contest.
