Saina to donate Rs 2 lakh for Tamil Nadu flood-affected victims

STAR INDIAN SHUTTLER Saina Nehwal will donate an amount of Rs 2 lakh for the flood-affected people of Tamil Nadu, her confirmed on Friday.

"Saina would like to donate Rs 2 lakh to the victims of rains in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. I am going to make it happen," Saina's father Harvir Singh said, as reported by PTI.

Saina is currently in Bangalore, training under coach Vimal Kumar. 

Several days of heavy rainfall and floods have caused widespread destruction in Chennai and its neigbouring districts in Tamil Nadu. Relief work is being carried out by individuals, organisations, etc.
