Top seeds Manu Attri, B Sumeeth Reddy gear up for Brazil Open
INDIAN MEN'S DOUBLES PAIR and World No. 21 Manu Attri/B Sumeeth Reddy are seeded no. 1 at the Brazil Open which begins on November 24 in Rio. The tournament will start with a round-robin format, group stages and then onto the knockout levels from the quarter-finals.
Attri/Reddy are in group 'A' along with Peter Briggs/Tom Wolfenden (England) and Paulo Lucas Rosa Oliveria/Thiago Silva Gomes (Brazil).
In the women's singles category Lalita Dahiya is in group 'B' along with Lohaynny Vicente (Brazil), Elisabeth Baldauf (Austria) and Mariana Ugalde (Mexico).
The mixed doubles category will be represented by Lalita Dahiya and Dinesh Chaudhry who are in group 'B' along with Danny Bawa Chrisnanta/Yu Yan Vanessa (Singapore), Eugenij Dremin/Evgenia Dimova (Russia), Alex Yuwan Tjong/Launa Vicente (Brazil) and Arturo Hernandez/Mariana Ugalde (Mexico).
