19/11/2015 - Delhi Dynamos FC vs FC Pune CIty

Both these teams have had a similar season path. Both got a few early wins; Pune City made good use of the 4 back-to-back home games they had at the start of the season and Delhi Dynamos did well to sneak in some one-goal wins here and there (including over Pune City, at Balewadi, handing them their first home defeat). But over the last few matches both teams have struggled to fall into a dominating rhythm and ended up with a lot of draws. Presently they sit next to each other in the ISL points table, both with 15 points from 10 matches. Both teams can be conservative and lock things down when under pressure. Tonight, therefore, expect a tight game of few goals; perhaps not very entertaining to watch. But we at TFG think Delhi Dynamos will get away with a narrow victory. For the simple reason that Pune City have never won away from home, and they're knackered from all the travelling they are having to do, while Delhi have been playing at home since early November. They have wasted their last three home games with draws but they'll get a win tonight.
