Atletico de Kolkata - 29/10/2015

The defending champions are reeling from back-to-back defeats to Pune City and NorthEast United. And they are facing an upbeat Delhi Dynamos who in spite of the defeat to Mumbai City in their last match are a side that is riding a wave of "positivity" weaved by their marquee player-coach Roberto Carlos. They have been troublesome opponents for every team they have played and in most of their matches they have won. But still we think the win will go to Atletico de Kolkata here. Simply because it's their home ground, and the two away defeats that plague them were narrow 1-0 losses where they never seemed to be bogged down by the opponent. A misfiring forward line is what seems to be holding them back; they have failed to produce goals on important occasions. But when compared to them Delhi Dynamos appear even more timid; they have produced only 4 goals so far while ATK have scored 6. The reason Delhi have managed to spend some time at the top is mostly due to their defence being able to diffuse the attacks of the likes of Chennaiyin FC and Pune City. So it's going to be a battle between two defenses, but ATK is likely to take the cake in the end by our estimation.
