Alarming situation for Mumbai City FC, says assistant coach Bruzon

AHEAD OF THEIR MATCH AGAINST Delhi Dynamos, Mumbai City assistant coach Oscar Bruzon on Tuesday termed the current situation as alarming after suffering two losses and managing a draw in their previous three encounters of the Indian Super League (ISL) second season.

Mumbai are currently seventh with just one point and will have to pull up their socks if they are to earn a win against a team who have enough momentum with three consecutive wins under their belt.

"I am not happy with the result of the team. It is important to do everything on the pitch. It's an alarming situation for Mumbai to make a good comeback," Bruzon said at the pre-match press conference here.

"This is not the beginning that we all wanted. We talked to the players and are looking forward to get the three points tomorrow. There is no room to make mistakes anymore as the league is very short now. It is high time we win, especially when we have four consecutive matches at home."

It will be the second home game for Mumbai after they lost 0-2 to Chennaiyin FC on October 16. The visitors, after three wins and a loss from four matches, are in second position with nine points behind leaders FC Pune City in the standings.

"We have analysed the strong side of Delhi and we are prepared to take them on. We know their strong points and weakness. We have to see that we have to have the winning spirit and attitude. All the players are available and confident to solve the difficult situation," Bruzon said.
