Dominant Djokovic blasts Murray to enter Shanghai Masters finals

WORLD NO.1 Novak Djokovic, produced another flawless performance in his 6-1, 6-3 semi-final victory over rival and world no.2, Andy Murray at the Shanghai Masters 1000. 

The Serb made light work of the British no.1 by breaking Murray five times in the match and in the process only committed seven unforced errors. 

Djokovic reached his 13th consecutive ATP tour final and will be aiming for his ninth title this season. The Serb, has also reached his seventh consecutive Masters 1000 event. 

Having won Indian Wells, Miami, Monte-Carlo and Rome in 2015, the world’s best player will be looking to add his third Shanghai title on Sunday. Djokovic is also second (24), tied with Roger Federer on the all-time list of 1000 Masters winners, behind Rafael Nadal (27). A victory tomorrow will see Djokovic narrowing the gap. 

The Serb, also leads the head-to-head against Tsonga by 13-6 and is an overwhelming favourite to win Shanghai for the third time.
