The 5th and final T20 of the five match Golden Cup T20 series between India and West Indies will be played at Central Broward Park Stadium Lauderhill Florida In USA. The match will start at 8:00 PM IST.
It was a good start for west Indies captain in the 4th T20 when Nicholas Pooran as he won the toss and put India into bat. Batting sensibly the Indians pulled off 54 runs for no loss in the first 6 overs of the batting powerplay, and went on further to make 64 more without loss of wickets. After such an impressive start by the openers, the middle order batsmen gathered some quick runs as well, pushing India to a total of 191runs.
When the west Indians started batting the Indian bowlers bowled good line and length close to the off stump, making bleak the chances of the opposition to stay in the game. Constantly picking up wickets, staying focused, and fielding well, India made sure that the west Indies got out for 132 runs, leading to India winning the match as well as the series.
Coming to the 5th and the last T20 match of the series being played today a bit of a plan will go a long way. If batting 1st, India should go after the West Indian bowlers with a fierce freedom and put up a big total on the board. And if they bowl 1st they should churn out straight line and length on off atump and vary pace form time to time.
Doing so they will not allow the Indies batsmen to decipher the pace of the ball and their batsmen will be deprived of a chance to go underneath the ball and to get the elevation that is required to play the big shots. Sticking to this strategy and calmly executing their plan the win is inevitable and the score line in this T20 series will be four by one.
