Mumbai City star medio goes home; sudden blow to coach and fans

IN A MOVE that will come as a blow to Mumbai City fans, it has turned out that Andre Moritz, the Brazilian attacking midfielder who has been a regular player for the franchise since the inaugural ISL, will leave the team to return home.

Without specifying the exact reason behind his sudden departure, a statement from Mumbai City CEO Indranil Das Blah said,

"We would hereby like to announce that due to some personal emergency which requires him to go back home immediately, Andre Moritz will not be with us to play for the rest of the Hero ISL 2015. Upon his request, we are relieving him from team duties for the rest of the season. The team wishes him the very best." 

This leaves coach Anelka without one of his trusted soldiers in the midfield. For the fans, the departure of one of their favourites is bound to come as a blow.
