ISL 2020 -- Subhashish Bose returns to Mohun Bagan on a 5 year deal
MOHUN BAGAN HAVE re-signed another one of their own; this time it's Indian international Subhashish Bose.
The 24 year old spirited left back is returning to the Mariners' fold on a 5 year contract.
Bose, who hails from a Mohun Bagan-supporting family, got his start as a youth footballer at the Pune FC academy. His senior football debut came at Sporting Clube de Goa in 2016. His performance at the I-League immediately turned heads and next season he was signed by the club he supported since his childhood; Mohun Bagan.
After one season playing in the Green & Maroon jersey, Subhashish was signed by Bengaluru FC. His consistent performance also earned him a place at the Indian national team in 2018. That summer, he joined Mumbai City FC.
After 2 years with the Islanders, Subhashish has decided to make a homecoming of sorts, re-joining Mohun Bagan on a long term deal that will see him spend a significant part of his playing career with the Mariners.
Still quite young by age, Subhashish has already become a veteran, earning regular starts at every club he's been a part of. He has made 102 total appearances in senior club football and even scored 4 goals. He has represented the Indian national team 18 times.
