- Tom Curran will be a huge miss for the side as they do not have an all rounder of an equal caliber.
- Steve OKeefe and Nathan Lyon will take up spin responsibility & Sean Abbott & Ben Dwarshius will take up pace.

- Since Marcus Harris is back, Mackenzie Harvey will bat down the order at number 7

- Mohammad Nabi will be straight replaced by Cameron White
- Kane Richardson & Chris Tremain will take the pace responsibility
