Update: The Vidarbha squad is up and during the press conference coach has hinted injury concerns on Umesh Yadav, there is a possibility Yash Thakur will be replacing him. We are changing our team with bringing in Rajneesh Gurbani in place of Umesh Yadav.

• Vidarbha were the winners of Irani tophy last season and they will take on ROI in a cruicial clash with them being the favourites 
• Please note: Vidarbha Cricket Association has not released their squad yet, if any changes are there we will update our team.
• Vidarbha ground have always assisted spinners so make  sure you have Aditya Sarwate & Akshay Wakhare in your team. The duo picked up 18 wickets in the finals.
• Umesh Yadav & Rajneesh Gurbani will take up the pace responsibility
• We feel one should go with Akshay Wadkar as the wicketkeeper choice as he is also third highest run scorer for  Vidarbha, and Snell Patel has performed well in the RanjiTrophy, so there will be a toss up between Snell & Ishan Kishan.
• The batting willbe mostly governed by Faiz Fazal & Wasim Jaffer, it remains to be seen who open up with Faiz Fazal, Atharva Taide is good upcoming prospect but will he find a place  in the 11 is still a question.

Rest of India

• Ajinkya Rahane will lead the Rest Of India side against Vidarbha
• D Jadeja, R Chahar & Krisnappa Gowtham will take up the spin attack, expect all the three to play
• Ankit Rajpoot and either of Tanveer Ul Haq/Sandeep Warrier will find a place in.
• Ajinkya Rahane, Mayank Agarwal, Shreyas Iyer & Anmolpreet Singh will take the batting for Rest of India.
• We feel even though Rinku Singh is one the highest run getters in the squad, but Uttar Pradesh was placed in Group C which did not had highly ranked teams. So his place is bit dicey.
• One of Ishan Kishan or Snell Patel will play. Snell Patel has done better then Ishan Kishan in this season of Ranji Trophy
