Mohammad Sami (24 wkts)
The 36-year-old former pace spearhead of the Pakistan cricket team who was nicknamed the modern Malcolm Marshall by legendary cricketer Imran Khan because of his ability to swing the ball beautifully at a high pace enjoys the second spot on the highest wicket taker's list swooping 24 wickets in 16 matches for the Islamabad United in the 2016-17 edition of the PSL.
In spite of unofficially bowling the fastest delivery ever in world cricket, Mohammad Sami has found himself in and out of contention for a spot in the national team because of his inconsistency and growing age. Sami will be eager to hit the deck hard and get back into contention with a top performance in this edition of the league.
