ISL 2017-18: Jamshedpur win narrow past NEUFC via a splendid goal from Priori
A BRILLIANT finish highlighted the proceedings between Jamshedpur and NorthEast United FC. Priori scored with an overhead kick which turned out to be the only goal of the match.
NorthEast United tested the home team's keeper early through Marcinho. Subrata was a thorn in NEUFC's way throughout the game as he pulled some amazing saves to deny several threteaning chances. The half ended goalless.
In the second half, Priori surprised everyone with a moment of brilliance when he took one touch of the ball and before it could come back on the ground, he sent the ball past Rehenesh with an overhead kick.
NEUFC could have scored had it not been for the heroics of Subrata Paul. A couple of moments saw the ball going narrowly past Subrata's goal. The final score read one nil to Jamshedpur FC.
