25-year-old, wicket-keeper batsman has been included for the first Test in Brisbane in place of Mathew Renshaw. Bancroft is almost certain to open the batting alongside David Warner. The Western Australian cricketer is coming off a splendid time in the domestic circuit. He got a brilliant 228* in the first-class game against South Australia and before that compiled two fifties in the game against New South Wales facing a quality attack. He has got 11 hundreds and 17 fifties till now in first-class structure. 

Already, Warner and Hazlewood have spoken highly of the potential debutant. Over the years, Bancroft has earned the reputation of being a solid batsman, showing a lot of patience and the ability to bat for longer periods. He is going to be priced reasonably and could very well be a part of your fantasy cricket teams going ahead into the series.
