THE GOOD, BAD & UGLY of the opening week of ISL 2017
FOUR MATCHES were played in the latest edition of the Indian Super League which kicked off on Friday, November 17. Seven goals were scored. A longer season of the ISL promised much to the number of fans watching from inside stadiums and homes.
The first game between defending champions ATK and last year's finalists Kerala Blasters FC was expected to be a mouth-watering encounter but turned out to a disappointing one in the end.
The opening weekend also saw two debutant teams, Jamshedpur FC and Bengaluru FC entering with a lot of promise. TFG takes a quick look at the various moments that defined the first weekend of ISL season four.
