I-League set to begin on 25th November; first Kolkata Derby mid-December

THERE IS yet no clarity on when I-League will begin but according to various reports, it will kick off on 25th of November.

Fans in Kolkata can expect its first derby between Mohun Bagan and East Bengal mid-December. But this fixture brings some scheduling issues for the current champions, Aizawl FC, as they are likely to be playing in the Mizoram Premier League playoffs at the same time.

But TFG has learned that the scheduling issues with the Peoples Club have been resolved, and everyone is waiting for broadcasters Star Sports to issue the final approval on the fixture list.
