TFG Pundit: Dream 11 tips for India v New Zealand 1st T20

Overview 

India will take on New Zealand in the opening game of the three-match T20 series tomorrow at the Feroz Shah Kotla in Delhi.  On the weather front, it is going to be a clear day and we will get a full match.  

On the team combination side of things, we feel that seamer Ashish Nehra will get a swansong in front of his home crowd. However, there is little doubt that the hosts will play two spinners for this game. 

The Kiwis too are likely to play both Sodhi and Santner. Also, they have got a few T20 specialists in their ranks and they could get into the playing 11 straightaway. The Delhi wicket is very tough to predict. 

But we feel it could offer plenty of runs and with smaller boundaries, we could see plenty of big hits.  On the fantasy cricket front, it would be better to pick top-order batsmen from both teams.

IND-  Dhawan,  Rohit,  Kohli,  Dhoni, Pandey/Rahul, Pandya, Kuldeep, Chahal, Nehra, Bumrah, Bhuvi 

NZ-  Phillips, Guptill, Munro, Williamson, Latham, Bruce/Taylor, Colin de, Santner, Southee, Boult/Henry, Sodhi 

Important players for this game 

Guptill- He might have flopped in the ODIS, but we all know what he can do in this format. 

Virat- Regardless of tthe format, the Indian skipper needs to be in all fnatasy teams. 

Rohit- He got a splendid 100 in the last odi and is hitting the ball sweetly. Can really make it count in this format. 

Bumrah- He is a specialist in this format. Almost gets wickets every time in t20s. Keep a watch on his yorkers.
