TFG Fantasy Kabaddi: Fantasy Pundit tips for Dabang Delhi vs Bengaluru Bulls in Jaipur

Overview

The two teams will meet for the second time this season. The Dabang Delhi got the better of Bengaluru Bulls in Kolkata (38-30).

This is an inconsequential game of Dabang Delhi, who are languishing at the bottom of the Zone A points table. With 36 points from 20 games, the Delhi-side have arguably been the most underperforming team in season 5.

However, they are going into this match after beating Jaipur Pink Panthers 34-35 in a nail-biting contest. 

Although the Bengaluru Bulls are at the bottom of the Zone B points table, they will look to give their best shot at the Super Playoffs. They are 15 points behind third-placed UP Yoddha, who have three more matches to go. 

The Bulls should aim to win all of their remaining four games and pray that the Yoddhas drop all their points. The Rohit Kumar-led side is going into this match after beating Tamil Thalaivas 35-35 in Chennai.

Team Combination

With the team already out of contention for the playoffs, Delhi could make unexpected substitutions in the squad. However, we feel that they are likely to start with the same winning combination against Bengaluru. The raid department is likely to comprise Abolfazl Maghsodlou, Meraj Sheykh and R. Sriram. The latter was key in the team’s win against Jaipur as he picked six raid points and a tackle point.

In the defence, Nilesh Shinde will feature in the right corner while Yatharth will feature in the left. Nilesh picked no tackle point in the entire match against Jaipur. On the other hand, Yatharth was involved in a brilliant Super Tackle. Tushar Bhoir and Vishnu Viraj Landge will defend in the right and the left corner respectively. The duo was involved in two tackle points each. Expect Anand Patil to come on as a substitute. 

The Bengaluru Bulls made two changes in their lineup, in their match against Tamil Thalaivas. They started with Sachin Kumar ahead of Kuldeep Singh in the left corner. He made the most of the opportunity by initiating strong ankle holds to earn a High 5. Sachin is likely to start again, against Delhi. Also, Ajay Kumar, who replaced Sunil Jaipal, scored six touch points from 17 raids. Ajay will raid in tandem with skipper Rohit Kumar. Harish Naik will play as the third raider in the squad.

The Bulls could replace Ashish Kumar with Preetam Chhillar. The duo have seen plenty of opportunities this season but are yet to make a valuable contribution in any of the games. While Ravinder Pahal defends in the right corner, Mahender Singh will defend in the left cover. Expect Sunil Jaipal to come on as a substitute in the face on an All-Out.

Players that cannot be ignored:

Rohit Kumar: The Bengaluru skipper has largely been involved in all their wins this season. He has led the attack single-handedly and inflicted damage on the opponents in a couple of matches. Rohit has scored 54 points in his last five matches, which include three Super 10s. We expect him to make the most of Delhi’s shaky defence and add another Super 10 to his tally. We pick him as our captain.
