The two teams will lock horns for the first time this season. While the Tamil Thalaivas are ranked sixth in the Zone B points table, Jaipur Pink Panthers are ranked fifth in the Zone A points table.

On the other hand, the Panthers have won six, lost six and drawn one of their 13 matches this season. They are going into this match after suffering a 41-34 defeat at the hands of Telugu Titans. 

The Jaipur team has played most of its matches without the services of Manjeet Chhillar, Selvamani K and Jasvir Singh. However, their previous game saw the trio featuring in the side only after the first match of the season.
