The Patna Pirates have won nine, lost four and drawn four of their 17 matches this season. They are going into this match after suffering a 41-46 defeat at the hands of UP Yoddha. Prior to that defeat, Patna were unbeaten at home.

The Pirates have consistently scored over 40 points in most of their games, courtesy of stellar raiding performance of Pardeep Narwal and Monu Goyat. They will be hoping to claim an easy win and extend their position at the top.
