CHRIS WEIDMAN is back to winning ways after a submission win over Kelvin Gastelum at UFC Long Island.
Weidman secured the win via a submission in the third round of the fight and marked an end to his losing streak. Meanwhile, in the co-main event, Darren Elkins and Dennis Bermudez fought to a split decision with the former getting an important win.
Patrick Cummins also needed split decision to edge out Gian Villante when Jimmie Rivera continued his impressive streak by defeating Thomas Almeida via unanimous decision. With the win, Rivera marked extended his undefeated run to 20 wins and is also his fifth win in the UFC.
