Nitin Tomar

Raider - Nitin Tomar

Tomar joined the UP camp and became the costliest player in the history of kabaddi, this year. Interestingly, the 22-year-old raider, who stole limelight at the players’ auction, wasn’t a part of the PKL’s initial two seasons. The youngster played his first season for Bengal Warriors in their third edition. A few months later, he plied his trade with Puneri Paltan and racked up 115 points in 22 matches. Subsequently, he earned a berth in the Kabaddi World Cup 2016 squad and showcased his fine run against international teams. It was a memorable moment for the Paltans when a bandaged Tomar raided and earned points for them in the season 3. While looking to justify his price-tag at UP, the local-ite will be at the forefront of the raiding department.
