TFG Fantasy Pundit: Fantasy cricket tips for ENG v NZ CT game at Cardiff

Overview 

Chris Woakes has been ruled out of the champions trophy and won't be featuring in this game. Either Steven Finn or Jake Ball might play in place of Woakes. England might also contemplate giving Billings or Bairstow the opportunity ahead of struggling Roy. For the Kiwis, we don't see any changes, unless injury forces them to. This game will be played at Cardiff and once again we are likely to get a good wicket for batting. 

Probable 11

ENG- Hales, Bairstow/Roy, Root, Morgan, Stokes, Buttler, Ali, Rashid, Plunkett, Wood, Finn/Ball 

NZ- Guptill, Ronchi, Williamson, Taylor, Broom, Anderson, Neesham, Santner, Milne, Southee, Boult 

Players who cannot be ignored 

Williamson- Arguably the best batsman in the Kiwi line-up. We saw his class once again against the Aussies a few days ago. 

Root- He is Mr. Consistent for England across formats. Has been in tremendous touch lately and dropping him will prove costly. 

Stokes- Given his recent exploits in the limited overs format, it would be a folly to ignore him. In fact, he is a captain material in fantasy cricket. 

Guptill- Regardless of the form he is in, he is likely to go hammer and tongs at the top. Can really get some handy runs opening the batting. 

Plunkett- Has suddenly become the leading bowler for the English. Rarely goes wicketless in a game.
