UFC 211 Results: Stipe Miocic and Joanna Jędrzejczyk Retain, Maia to get title shot

UFC 211 WILL be remembered for all the right reasons. The fight card lived up to the expectations and delivered some memorable fights.

In the main event, Stipe Miocic stopped Junior Dos Santos in the first round to get his second successful title defense. The dominating performance puts Miocic in the history books and if he gets one more successful title defense, he will be the first Heavyweight fighter in UFC history to defend the belt on three occasions.

Elsewhere, Joanna JÄ™drzejczyk dominated Jessica Andrade to remain the Women’s Straw weight champion. With the win, Joanna improved her record to 14-0. Demian Maia secured a split decision win over Jorge Masvidal. It was Maia’s first split decision win of his career and he has been promised a title shot as well.
