A power packed team filled with 'Royals'

THE SECOND SEASON OF IPTL promises to be even more exciting and electrifying as some of the players are now part of a new franchise. There has been a complete shift in the teams as some have managed to retain their players and some joined new teams. There are also a number of icon players who are not part of the second season.

The team that looks solid this year and that has been in the news for various reasons is UAE Royals. The major shift in this team has been the inclusion of 17-time Grand Slam champion Roger Federer (part of Indian Aces in the first season), the others include Ana Ivanovic (also part of Indian Aces earlier), reigning US Open champion Marin Cilic, Tomas Berdych (part of Singapore Slammers earlier), Daniel Nestor (part of Philippine Mavericks earlier), Kristina Mladenovic where as they have retained Goran Ivanisevic.

Indian Aces won the first edition and Federer being part of the team was a boost to their confidence. UAE Royals will be looking for the same boost and hope that they will win the season.

Among all the teams the top contender will be reigning champions Indian Aces and also the newly formed Japan Warriors who are a fresh lot and have players that has fan following.

The UAE Royals are thrilled to have Federer on their side, the tweet on their official page is quite evident of that.

It is not only the franchise but also the fans who are thrilled with the news.

The team members have a message for their fans and also for their opponents, watch the video below:

So come December the tennis fans are in for a Royal treat!
