Play by Play: Late super strike by Costa earns Mumbai a point against Chennaiyin FC

MUMBAI SUPER SUB COSTA'S strike helped Mumbai take home a point and it came as a a blow to Chennaiyin as they could have gone 3 goals up but Albino's heroics were the reason that Mumbai were able to snatch the point from Chennaiyin FC. Mumbai started off well in the first half but fizzled out quickly it. It was as Chennaiyin from there, Peluso causing the most worry for Mumbai Defence from one flank and Thoi Singh from the other. It was Peluso's free kick that Albino kept out brilliantly.

The second half Chennaiyin continued where they left off in the first half, applying constant pressure. Peluso's corner was headed in by Jeje on the near post neatly. Jeje had another chance when he tried a cheeky finish on the near post but it went just over the bar. The best chance fell to Dudu when he received a ball from Jeje 8 yards from the goal line and Albino again denied Chennaiyin by a super block and save. Then the moment to brialliance from Costa. He struck from a good distance to give Kerr no chance as that ball hit the inside of the post and went in. Late equaliser was the last action of the game.
