TFG Fantasy Pundit: Changes galore in our fantasy cricket team for Gujarat v Kolkata game

Overview

After reading several reports and dealing with a lot of confusion and selection dilemma, we have finally decided to drop Jason Roy & Brendon McCullum from our team. Also, we are not taking any chances on Chris Lynn. We will stick to Manish Pandey. Finally, our vice-captain has been changed to Chris Woakes. Earlier we had mentioned about Gambhir & Uthappa. 

Shakib AL Hasan & Umesh Yadav won't be available for this game. For Gujarat, R Jadeja & Bravo won't feature. The Lions will have problems picking their top-order given the numerous options at their disposal. Between Smith, Finch, Roy & McCullum, three will play. James Faulkner will slot into the all-rounder category. It's going to be a hot evening in Rajkot with no chances of rain. 

Probable 11

GL- Finch/McCullum, Roy, Raina, Smith, Karthik, Faulkner, Ishan, Kaushik, Kulkarni, P Kumar, Nathu/Munaf 

KKR- Gambhir, Uthappa, Pandey, Lynn, Surya, Pathan, Woakes, Kuldeep, Dhawan/Chawala, Narine, Boult

Players who cannot be ignored 

Raina- He might not have got enough matches under his belt running up to the event, but he remains the highest run-getter in the IPL. 

Uthappa- He will open the batting with Gambhir and likes to attack from the word go. Keep in mind, he will also keep wickets. 

Kuldeep- His variations will surely keep him in the hunt in this format. He can also bat down the order. 

D Smith- He had a fantastic time in the PSL & Hong Kong t20. If he doesn't open, he will bat no.3 or 4. Of course, he can bowl too.
