AFTER MAHESH BHUPATHI’S AND SANIA MIRZA’S success with their tennis academies in India, compatriot Rohan Bopanna too has launched his own academy in his hometown of Bangalore.
The Rohan Bopanna Tennis Academy (RBTA) will offer young children in India access to a global standard tennis coaching program. RBTA will offer 2 levels of coaching programs to children between 4 and 14 years. The curriculum has been planned by Bopanna along with RBTA Mentor Coach - Pietie Norval, who is known for his great work with children in South Africa.
While Norval will be the full-time coach at the academy, Bopanna will have an interaction with the children and parents once in two months.
Bopanna will be available for a fun and interactive session as he kicks off the Rohan Bopanna Tennis Academy, between 4th and 6th March 2016.
