TFG SmackDown Review: Huge return set for Survivor Series, Becky Lynch retains, Ellsworth shows up

THE SMACKDOWN FANS got a huge surprise on the latest show as Baron Corbin was dropped by Team SmackDown due to injury. And his replacement was someone that was least expected.

Shane is the last member of Team SmackDown

Shane McMahon set to return

WWE already has Goldberg returning for Survivor Series and on SmackDown, it was revealed that Shane McMahon would also make his in-ring return at the show. Shane will be replacing the injury Baron Corbin and it would be interesting to see how Shane rallies the troops around. At the same time, Corbin was someone that was rumored to be a breakout name at Survivor Series but now that he is off the show, the obvious question is. What is next for him?

Becky Lynch retains

Becky Lynch had a major title defense against Alexa Bliss this week on SmackDown and she successfully managed to keep hold of her title. Becky’s title reign is currently showing no signs of showing up and unlike the Women’s championship on Monday Night Raw, the SmackDown Women’s title not changing hands often raises its credibility.

Main event featuring Wyatt Family

Randy Orton, along with Luke Harper and Bray Wyatt went up against the team of Kane, Dean Ambrose and James Ellsworth on this week’s main event. While the former came out winning, the major talking point was the return of James Ellsworth. Ellsworth was expected to be out of SmackDown after how WWE showcased him last week, but the way he showed up again indicates that he is going nowhere.
