THE INDO-SWISS PAIR OF SANIA MIRZA AND MARTINA HINGIS failed to complete the 'SanTina Slam' after they lost 3-6, 2-6 to Czech duo of Barbora Krejcikova/Katerina Siniakova in the third round of French Open on Sunday.
Going into this tournament, seeded No. 1, they were hoping to win their fourth Grand Slam in a row. Their winning run at the Grand Slam stage began with a title in Wimbledon last year, followed by the triumph in the US Open and those wins were backed up in Melbourne this year in January.
