Opening with David Warner (who hit an unbeaten 100), Bairstow took on the role of the aggressor, scoring 114 off just 56 balls in a stormy innings that saw the two make an opening partnership f 185 runs in 16.2 overs; the highest in IPL history.
Bairstow's barrage included 7 sixes and 12 boundaries, with a strike rate of 203.57. SRH finished their innings with 231 on the board; and made RCB succumb to a total of 113 to record a massive 118 run win.
