IN A HIGHBROW CONTEST of skills and strategy, KRYPHSA announced their Indian Women's League title ambitions by defeating Sethu FC, the defending champions.
Indian intenational Ratanbala Devi scored in each half to secure victory for her team.
As the game wore on, KRYPHSA attacked as a unit, aiming to control the midfield and the flow of the game. Despite facing heavy resistance from the champs, they managed to exploit the holes in the opponent defence and maintained sustained pressure for much of the match.

Sethu FC had started their campaign with a resounding 5-0 win over FC Kohlapur City, while KRYPHSA beat Kickstart FC 4-0 in their campaign opener. Coming in with big wins, this match was a contest to establish an early front-runner in Group A; and it's safe to say that KRYPHSA have claimed that baton to run with for now.
Both teams who played today are overwhelming favourites to win their next outings, and will get a chance to try out their bench strength. On 30th January, Sethu will make a quick turnaround and face BBK Dav FC, who are coming off a draw with FC Kohlapur City. It's a good opportunity for them to get their campaign back on track. The next day, KRYPHSA will face Baroda Football Academy, who lost to Kickstart FC in a close contest at their previous match.
