SETHU FC AND Odisha FC continued their dominance on the top of the Group B table with significant victories early this morning.
Group leaders Sethu, who were the runners up last season, continued their win streak with a massive win over former champions Eastern Sporting Union. The 3-0 win came courtesy Priyangka Devi's first half goal, which was added onto by Sumati Kumari and Kiran Pisda who found the net in the second half.
Odisha FC, meanwhile, rose to the second position in the table with a 10-0 steamrolling of bottom-table Churchill Brothers. The legendary Bala Devi and goal merchants Karishma Oram both got first half braces while Malati Munda got two to her name in the second half. The other scorers were Jasoda Munda,Karthika Angamuthu, Faustina Akpo and Lynda Kom.
Both Sethu and Odisha look set to further build up their campaigns on 7th May as they take on CRPF and Lorda FA, before eventually clashing between themselves on 13th May in a game that may decide who tops the table in the group.
