Players being drawn out

India scored four past a team that kept an elephant’s share of the ball possession. In the first period, India were devoid of the ball for a long time, something which Sunil Chhetri too pointed out after the game.  Thailand were able to move the ball all over the attacking half. The concerning part was India’s midfield was drawn out to create opening for penetrations. While Haldar did the job of manning the central hole, Thapa had the freedom to freely distribute the ball. But against an even stronger sides like that of U.A.E. India would be requiring reinforcements in the midfield to not allow through balls.
