Mumbai Indians

PLAYERS TO BE RETAINED

Rohit Sharma- He has been a 'lucky skipper' for the Mumbai Indians having won them the trophy twice. Also, much of the batting will revolve around him. He could open the innings and also carries one of the best records in the IPL with the willow. Finally, his connect with the local crowd will help the Mumbai team a long way in further building their fan-base.

Jasprit Bumrah- He is arguably India's best seamer today in limited overs cricket and one of the best in the world too. In fact he shot to fame with the Mumbai franchise and in the process has become their best strike bowler in the recent years. Given his current form and ability, he will remain a hot property in the IPL. Mumbai will do well to preserve him.

Hardik Pandya- Arguably one of the best all-rounders in limited overs cricket. In fact, he has been a regular match-winner for team India recently. Much like Bumrah, he too benefited by playing for the Mumbai team and has grown under their banner. He is a game change with then willow and can also chip in with the ball. He provides a perfect balance in the shorter formats and Mumbai should go the distance to ensure he doesn't go elsewhere.

RIGHT TO MATCH

Kieron Pollard- Ever since he started playing the IPL, he has been an integral part of the Mumbai Indians. In fact, he has also won three championships playing for MI. He might blow hot and cold, but over the years, his impact in the Mumbai dugout cannot be overlooked. A genuine match-winner who can swing the match singlehandedly. Of course, MI will also realise his tremendous fan following and retain him to give them the much needed X' Factor.
