INDIAN MMA FIGHTER GURDARSHAN MANGAT has ensured that he the defeat is suffered at Brave 9: The Kingdom of Champions is only the smallest setback for his career. In a statement released on his social media pages, Mangat also thanked everyone for their support and guaranteed a stronger come back into the cage.
Mangat had suffered a first round defeat against Stephen Loman at Brave 9 co-main event. The result eventually crowned Loman as the inaugural Brave Bantamweight champion as well. Despite the loss, Mangat is in high spirits and urged people to follow their dreams.

Always taught since day 1 to be humble in victory or defeat. I take great pride in representing my people, my faith, my culture to world, to show my true source of strength . Team SaintLion is far from anything defeated, when I am in the backstage getting ready to walk that ramp to the cage,all the nerves and unknown , I talk to my ancestors, give me strength in whatever is to come and may there be some lesson in this all.
It’s easy to remain positive when it’s all going up, but true test of the mind is when it wants to go down. With everything I have been through in my life,this is the smallest of setbacks to keep me from roaring on the world stage with my people cheering.
Anybody that knows me personally knows that adversity could be my middle name cause it’s all I face and overcome, and what keeps me honest with the people that support me and with myself. I am overwhelmed with the love and support from all the messages sent saying how they had my back.
In a world I realize can be cruel , I was surprised. I will never stop fighting for my people, for the vision to inspire the underdogs and the dreamers who are told to stay quiet cause their dreams are a waste. I will always rise for you. I put my life into representing you all and continue to give you someone to look to,that I make a responsibility on myself for life.
