AIZAWL FC WERE PROVIDED A BOOST in their efforts of being able to host AFC matches. Union Sports Minister Vijay Goel was in Aizawl to meet the owner of the club. Among the other topics discussed, Goel assured his support to arrange for a land to Aizawl FC to construct a stadium following the AFC regulations.
The topic of the merger was also discussed. Goel re-assured of providing assistance to be sent through the Chief Minister of Mizoram for help in getting the stadium equipped. Aizawl FC shared a post on Facebook describing the meeting.
