It is going down the wire and all eyes will on the game tomorrrow to see Mohun Bagan can capitalise on the victory over title contenders Est Bengal. Shillong can disrupt the top of the table just as Bengaluru did after they beat Aizawl.

Singto, the coach of Shillong Lajong was respectful of the opponent Mohun Bagan's strength and form and shared his view of this game saying,

“Tomorrow’s game will be tough. Our home record is good and we need to keep that up. Having said that Mohun Bagan is on fire at the moment with their current performances and we need to play much better than we did against DSK,”

Even with the recent run of victories, Bagan are not yet guaranteed the title and coach Sanjoy Sen being very well aware of the potential of Lajong said,

“All the matches that we play from here on will like virtual finals. Lajong have always shown character against us and tomorrow’s match will be one of the toughest this season. We will give it our best,”

Lajong have scored 21 goals this season, just two less than Bagan but have conceded far more that Bagan and this has Singto concerned and he commented,

“Maintaining a clean sheet is crucial”

Sen, meanwhile, said Bagan cannot entirely focus on stopping ace striker Dipanda Dicka but the entire bunch of Lajong youngsters are a threat to his side.
