FC Goa vs Chennaiyin FC

This match is the footballing equivalent of a walk through the remains of a formerly fantastic castle. The participants in last season's dramatic grand finale suffered a massive lack of form this year, and now both are out of contention for a top four finish.

The morose draw that Atletico de Kolkata and Kerala Blasters played out a few days ago was the final nail in the coffin. These two franchsies who look like shadows of their former selves are missing out on the playoffs for the first time. And as such, their clash tonight has become irrelevant. But as a footballing contest, this can still throw up some good moments.

Going by the recent form, it seems obvious that FC Goa are the weaker, less motivated side right now. Delhi Dynamos pretty much toyed with them in the last game. So it's likely going to be a win for Chennai.
