Saina slips to No. 3 spot while Prannoy & Jwala/Ashwini climb up the ladder

INDIA'S LEADING WOMEN'S SINGLES SHUTTLER Saina Nehwal's ranking has dipped from No. 2 to 3 as per the Badminton World Federation (BWF) rankings that was released today. Saina will play her round two match today at the ongoing All England Championship which also happens to be her first international outing for the year.

Meanwhile, PV Sindhu remains at No. 12. The 20-year-old was ousted in the first round of the All England yesterday but she clinched the Malaysian GPG in January.

In the men's singles category, HS Prannoy climbed two steps up the ladder to No. 24. In form shuttler Kidambi Srikanth remains at No. 10 while Parupalli Kashyap is ranked 17 and Ajay Jayaram at 21.

The women's doubles shuttlers Jwala Gutta / Ashwini Ponnappa climbed a spot up to No. 14 from 15. On the other hand there was no shift in the men's doubles shuttlers ranking, Manu Attri/Buss Sumeeth Reddy are ranked No. 20.
